AIS has more than 70 Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) peering and backbone connections spread across each of our facilities and One Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles (OWB), providing more than 90Gbps of direct, high-performance Internet service connectivity. AIS facilities provide internet connectivity with at least 10 Tier 1 service providers and exchanges, delivering the highest quality of Internet service rendered at access.
AIS provides secure and reliable high performance network connectivity through our regional Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network which allows real-time service delivery from multiple points on the Internet to any of our data centers.
Our highly redundant, private MPLS network connects the 5 AIS San Diego data centers with our Van Buren data center in Phoenix and One Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles via multiple diverse routes and carriers. Each AIS facility is connected by low-latency Layer 3 VPN service, consisting of multiple and redundant 10Gbps connections over dark fiber and optical carrier links designed to self-heal in the event of a failure. Redundant, diverse routes ensure your equipment will maintain connectivity in the event of provider outages, natural disasters or other disruptive events. Our redundant optical network gives clients the fastest possible path between our San Diego and Phoenix facilities and One Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles.
