Server Monitoring

The ISM includes built-in support for Nagios which allows the client to monitor various interfaces, services and applications on their servers right from the ISM. As an example, a client could configure a Cisco switch for storm control to prevent an out of control server on your LAN from creating a DOS-type situation. Once that is set up, the ISM server monitoring can observe that device for automatic port shutdowns due to a network storm, and notify the client.

Fault Tolerant

The ISM supports a cluster configuration with two physical hardware systems providing a fault tolerant and load balanced traffic environment. Sharing the load improves performance and overall reliability. In the event of a failure of one cluster member, the other member will automatically take the entire load. Balance is achieved through subnet provisioning and backup by each member. If one member fails, the other remaining members take over. This solution is highly recommended for clients that require maximum up time.

Change Control

Every change is checked and reviewed by the ISM supervising engineer for integrity. As the client, you will receive a detailed report listing every change made to the rules, who did it, who checked off on it and the final test results.

Spam Filter

The spam filter function can clean both viruses and spam for any number of mail servers or domains. This feature offers an opportunity to resell to your clients. Each solution comes with a 250-email account pack.

SSL VPN

Clients can connect to their network from anywhere they can get on the Internet to administer their equipment over a secure connection. Certificate-based SSL does not require a login and password from the user.
