High-Speed Low Latency Office Connectivity
AIS has provided high-speed office and data center connectivity services since 1994. With seven colocation facilities and partnerships with preferred carriers and vendors, AIS offers its worldwide clients internet, point-to-point and transport services to almost any location. Whether a client requirements range from a T1 or DS3 to a direct Metro Ethernet or fiber hand-off, AIS has harnessed the fastest and most reliable network and backbone connections available. This high-speed, low latency connectivity provides a premium platform for the latest in communications technology at very competitive pricing.

Blended Premium Bandwidth
The challenge in blended internet bandwidth is to provide the best possible Internet connectivity for our colocation and connectivity clients. While performing research to find the best Tier backbones, the AIS network engineering team determined that in order to design the highest bandwidth network with the lowest latency, AIS will need direct connectivity to the best and largest backbones on the internet, plus directly connect the AIS blend to the internet's largest private peering networks. The reason revolves around how the internet works, as the internet is not a single network but rather a network of networks. To get from point A to point B, most internet traffic has to pass from one network to another, often multiple times. When these peering points get congested, traffic backs up. Ultimately, AIS chose to blend AT&T, Global Crossing, Level 3, Savvis, Sprint, Verizon, XO, and set up peering connections (see peering list below) with the Any2 Exchange & Cenic.
IPv6
AIS offers IPv6 support at all data centers and with each blended internet solution. Additionally, clients can request AIS to allocate a block of IPv6 addresses at no additional charge.
Carrier Neutrality
In addition to providing clients point-to-point connectivity or blended bandwidth connections, all AIS data centers are carrier neutral in design. This means that along with the AIS premium bandwidth blend, all AIS clients can connect with the multiple carriers that have decided to build directly into every AIS colocation facility. Services offered by these carriers include direct internet bandwidth, point-to-point connectivity, or transport to another facility. The carriers that currently reside inside AIS data centers include AGL, Cox, AboveNet, AT&T, Cogent, Integra, Level 3, XO, Time Warner, Qwest, Sprint, Salt River Project, TW Telecom, Telepacific & Verizon
