One Wilshire Point of Presence (OWPOP)

At the AIS One Wilshire point of presence (POP), we have installed optical switches and routers to provide highly redundant peering and transit connectivity for our customers. Over 80 IPv4 and IPv6 private peering connections provide direct network connectivity with large domestic content and subscriber networks such as Pandora and Microsoft, as well as global content providers, such as Akamai Europe and Singapore Telecom.

AIS backbone connectivity in One Wilshire includes ATT, Global Crossing, and Sprint --more than enough to provide complete backup for AIS San Diego transit requirements.

All of this peering and transit access is delivered across  the AIS private and redundant 10Gbps (OC-192) connections to separate San Diego facilities, maximizing global network performance across the entire AIS network.
