Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer, in coordination with senior technical management and the Network Operations team, is responsible for engineering and administration of internal and client-facing service delivery platforms. The Network Operations team is tasked with scaling and operating the AIS regional network (LA / San Diego / Phoenix), building and managing AIS’s enterprise-grade cloud services platforms, installing and operating internal applications, and providing professional services. The Systems Engineer reports to the Director of Network Operations and is responsible for ensuring mission-critical systems are available at all times.



Applications Engineer – Network Operations

This position on the Network Operations team is responsible for infrastructure applications and special projects, including firewall configuration and management, load-balancing, monitoring applications, and standards compliance. The Applications Engineer will be responsible for specification, implementation and testing of client network applications, and ensuring mission-critical systems are running and available at all times. 



Client Services Engineer

The primary responsibility is to provide clients with the highest quality of customer service and support. Additional tasks include: network and computer troubleshooting, facility monitoring, facility access control, inventorying client equipment, running and termination of Ethernet cable, and provisioning client cabinets and racks. A CSE must demonstrate advanced customer relations skills and knowledge of data center operations.



Business Development Manager

The AIS Business Development Manager will be assigned a territory and will hunt for new client opportunities. Focus on SMB and enterprise-level accounts and prospects that are between $250M and $10 Billion in total revenue with an acute focus on colocation, network and managed services within the Southwest Region.
