A message from AIS CEO, Tim Caulfield:

I recently became a director of the San Diego Regional Economic Development
Corporation (EDC).  This is a group that implements strategies for setting the San Diego region apart from its competitors as a thriving center of technology and entrepreneurship. The focus is on regional prosperity as well as strengthening San Diego’s diverse economy to compete in the global marketplace.

Going into 2012, the group is throwing its support behind ShowYourLoveSD.org.



In brief, this effort is about rallying the folks who live and work in the San Diego region to be a part of shaping the future.  To start, I encourage you to participate in their online survey, where you can weigh in on topics like:

• Quality of Education for our Children and Grandchildren
• Availability of Good Paying Jobs as the Region Grows
• Meeting Future Housing Needs
• Future Parks, Open Space, Sports Venues, Libraries, Museums, Beaches and the Arts 

The window for input is closing soon (January 31).
